Bio
Idalis Madrigal is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus in ceramic sculpture and embroidery. Her work is a result of unresolved tension surrounding her upbringing. Though she was born in Spokane Washington, she spent the majority of her life in Las Vegas where she attended Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and received a diploma in Fine Art. She returned to Washington state to study at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, where she received her BFA in the Spring of 2019. She has recently shown at the Chautauqua Institution in New York, and attended the 2019 VACI program.
